A strategic partnership agreement between the Abu Dhabi international center of corporate Excellence affiliated to Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the British Royal Institute for Reconstruction and Development specialized in the rehabilitation of technical and administrative personnel working in the construction industry was signed yesterday . The ceremony was attended by HE Mohammed Rashed Al Hameli Director General of Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry and a number of Board members of Abu Dhabi Excellence Center.
The agreement was signed by Professor Hadi Tijani, Chief Executive of the Center and the British Royal Institute for Construction and Housing by Chief Executive of the Institute.
HE Mohammed Rashed Al Hameli Director General of Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry affirmed on the occasion of the signing of this agreement to such cooperation and strategic partnership with the British Royal Institute for Reconstruction and Development, one of the most prestigious institutes and institutions in Britain and Europe and the world in the field of rehabilitation of cadres working in the construction industry < which comes in line with the Center's aims to gain the skills and training of cadres in the construction sector in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the United Arab Emirates in particular and the countries of the region in general, pointing out that the agreement provides that the center becomes an arab and regional reference in this area, stressing that this Convention will contribute to the promotion of sustainable development particularly in terms of human resource development and training in the United Arab Emirates and the region and provide them with the best science and skills in the field of building and construction and contracting.
For his part, Professor Hadi Al Tijani, Chief Executive of the center said that this agreement is aimed at contributing to the development of competencies , personnel and human resources working in the construction industry, real estate, reconstruction and construction so that the Abu Dhabi international center of corporate Excellence training courses and educational programs in collaboration with the Royal British Institute will work together for the accreditation of individuals and staff after qualifying to work in the various institutions that are engaged in construction and reconstruction in the country and the region.
Professor Al Tijani said that the agreement between ADICOE and the Royal British Institute for Reconstruction and Development stipulate that both parties should cooperate for the development of professionals and staff in this area and provide education and approved training programs and to prepare studies and policies in the construction industry as well as organizing events and specialized seminars and workshops on developing work in the construction industry and construction in the region.
The Convention on the partnership between the two sides develop and implement a strong system and integrated approach to the adoption of consultants and experts in construction, as well as cooperation with universities and colleges to develop the skills and capabilities of workers in the construction sector and provide them with the latest knowledge, science and global best practices in this area.
Professor Hadi Eltijani stressed on the importance of this Convention as it would make Abu Dhabi international center of corporate Excellence an arab and regional reference for the adoption of global experts and professionals in the field of construction and to support and contribute to the development of the construction sector in the country and the region to become one of the owners and official certifications in the assessment of construction.
He added that it is the first formal adoption of the first mall in the Middle East in this area, which reinforces the reputation of ADICOE and Abu Dhabi's position as a regional and global leader in excellence and professional development, pointing out that the number of members of the Royal Institute members in the world are 43 thousand members in 100 countries and this reflects the wealth of knowledge and expertise of the Institute, which will benefit all companies, institutions and individuals working in the construction sector in the State and the region.
The Convention provides for the exchange of specialized publications and information for the management of construction and related technology as well as the exchange of research and publications, organization of conferences on the subject of building and construction, exchange of visits and cooperation between experts and staff working in the construction sector in the two countries and urged construction companies in both countries to increase communication and cooperation and take advantage of the expertise available on both sides.
According to this Convention ADICOE and the British Royal Institute for Reconstruction and Development shall exchange Research, Science and knowledge of contracting and construction sector and contribute to the development of this sector and bring it to the best international standards in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
