Visa & Hotel Information
Hotels usually look after the visa formalities but this will require you to be a guest in that particular hotel. The other method is to have a local sponsor. The sponsor at the airport deposits visas and you can collect it from the counter there upon your arrival.
Please note that all Visa applications take at least 10 working days to process. After entering the UAE the permitted duration of stay is as specified excluding arrival and departure date. The full duration of the stay must within the respective Hotel. Should you cancel your reservation or in case of no-show after 6 pm on the date of arrival without the hotel being informed, a one nights room charge will also be applied.
You do not need a Visa if you are
A citizen of the GCC. (Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Saudi Arabia). A citizen of UK, France, Italy, Germany, Holland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Austria, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Portugal, Ireland, Greece, Cyprus, Finland, Malta, Spain, Monaco, Vatican City, Iceland, Andorra, Marino, Liechtenstein, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Brunei.
As per the Immigration Law in the UAE, the above nationalities do not require an entry visas. Visas can be obtained upon arrival at Abu Dhabi International airport at no cost & valid for a period of one month.
