Yemen Visa requirements

Nationals of the following countries do not require a visa to enter the Republic of Yemen:

  • Jordan, Syria and Egypt.
  • All nationals of the GCC.

Yemenis holding UK passports are issued free single entry visas up to two months validity from date of issue.

Gratis visas are issued for diplomats posted to work in the diplomatic mission in Yemen or for those travelling to Yemen on official duty providing they have an official invitation. In all other cases, they are treated on a reciprocal basis.

None UK passport holders must be in possession of a U.K. residence visa when applying for a visa to enter Yemen. Travel Documents - approval for a visa must be obtained from the Passport and Immigration Authority in Yemen.

All Nationalities please note:

All minors (i.e. under the age of 16 years) travelling with just one parent requires the written consent of the other parent before a visa will be issued. Proof of custody will be required in custodial cases.

One completed application form.

One recent passport size photograph.

The passport of the applicant must be valid for at least 6 months
