The FB-100A is a fixed box megapixel network camera featuring the latest technologies in an easy to install and managed device. Being an IP camera, it is inherently networkable, being accessible not only from your LAN but from anywhere on the Internet. It is fully day/night equipped with a removable IR cut filter so it can produce images in bright light, low light and infra-red lit environments.
Available with a detachable 3.5-88m manual zoom lens this can be replaced with any CS mount lens to suit the exact application for example wide angle or telephoto zoom.
Megapixel quality (1024 x 800) backed up by H-264 compression makes the most efficient use of storage and bandwidth. The ability to stream two resolutions simultaneously means that full resolution is available for local viewers and lower resolution for restricted bandwidth environments such as Internet or 3G.
Local storage using SD cards allows the user to optionally record on the unit itself with the video files retrieved by FTP or by physically removing the card to transfer to a PC. The video motion detector lets the user define exactly what is recorded and can send out an automatic alert (for example an email) when an activity is detected. The Easylink feature makes the camera accessible from anywhere on the Internet so a user, once alerted, can quickly view a potential security threat.
