CB-100A series is a high-specification megapixel cube type network camera with H-264 compression to make the most efficient use of storage and network bandwidth. As an IP camera it is inherently networkable, letting the user keep an eye on their home of office from anywhere in the world via the Internet.The compact dimensions and minimal depth enable the CB-100A to be discretely positioned; ideal for doorways or corners where space is limited or where un obtrusive installation is preferred.
A built in microphone and speaker enable the user to listen in remotely and/or conduct a two way conversation with someone next to the camera. A PIR detector on the camera will detect movement that can trigger a built in high intensity white LED to illuminate a person's face and pre recorded sound/message through the units built in speaker.
Local storage using SD cards allows the user to optionally record on the unit itself with the video files retrieved by FTP or by physically removing the card to transfer to a PC. The video motion detector lets the user define exactly what is recorded and can send out an automatic alert (for example and email) when an activity is detected. The ability to stream two resolutions simultaneously means that full resolution is available for local viewers and lower resolution for restricted bandwidth environments such as Internet or 3G.
