Human Recognition Systems’ Middle East market drive for biometric technology

Biometric and identity management consultancy Human Recognition Systems (HRS) has signed a partnership deal with Innova Consultants Group WLL (ICG) and Eastern Trading and Maintenance Company Ltd (ETM) to introduce its MSolutions products to meet expanding demand in the Middle East region.

HRS has established core markets in the UK since the company was set up in 2002, including construction, aviation, defence, central government and homeland and border security. Its Msolutions package of biometrics, video analytics and identity tools will now help ICG and ETM to quickly grow within the Middle East biometrics market, which has seen double-digit growth in the last three years, the company reports.

Widely recognised in the oil and gas industries, ICG and ETM say they've seen significant opportunities for HRS' MSite product, an integrated biometric access control and workforce management solution. They have also identified demand for two further product groups: MFlow - a series of automated business solutions that improve passenger flow through airports - and Msecure, designed to optimise security at critical areas of airports and other industries with high value assets.

HRS' International Business Development Consultant, Amit Singh, explains: "We plan to set up a biometric centre of excellence with ICG and ETM in the Middle East that will be used to drive innovation and develop customer-led identity solutions."

Meanwhile, ETM Chairman, Enggr. Marzoug M. Al Qahtani adds: "The demand for biometric technology and identity management is experiencing significant growth in the Middle East. The partnership with HRS adds considerable experience to our IT services and system integration capability and I am confident that this will help us quickly establish market share, particularly in our key markets: oil, gas and aviation."

HRS' customers already include Pakistan International Airlines, Carillion, the Renault Formula 1 team and Manchester Airport.
