MAXxess Systems has enjoyed particular success in the Middle East following its transformation from being solely an Access Control manufacturer to a leading developer of sophisticated security management software solutions.

“We are a totally different company to what we were just three years ago,” added Lee. “The digital revolution and the inevitable march towards IP/Network based security solutions has created opportunities for the integration of a multitude of systems. We recognise there is a market demand for software solutions that can take the effort and cost out of integration and as a result we have invested massively in R&D to bring us to a stage where we can claim to be leading the industry in the provision of integration software tools.”

Prior to a management buy-out that saw the introduction of the MAXXESS Systems name, the company was the access control division of GYYR and had been involved with the manufacture of access control solutions for over 21 years. Following the buy-out, the company looked closely at how the needs of the security market was evolving and realised it could offer clients much more. MAXXESS transformed itself from being solely an access control supplier into a company that now concentrates its resources into developing software solutions to allow businesses and organisations to get the best out of their investment security systems.

“We have enjoyed considerable success over the last few years but perhaps we have not been shouting loud enough about what we have been achieving compared to other manufacturers operating within the security industry,” said Lee Copland, Managing Director of MAXXESS Systems EMEA. “We certainly have a pedigree to be proud of and with the recent launch of our eAXxess, eFusion and EndPointadaptive software suites, the time is right for us to raise our market profile.”
MAXXESS Systems Europe has achieved its considerable worldwide success by providing a very high level of pre and post sales support. Locally based MAXXESS teams enthusiastically assist clients at every stage of a contract, from system design through to installation, commissioning and training. Every contract is project managed by hands-on senior managers.
When asked to provide an overview on what the company provides, Lee said: “In simple terms our software solutions enable a multitude of different types of systems to be seamlessly integrated together to ensure clients get the maximum out of their security systems, improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, maximise the life of existing systems and facilitate seamless migration to new technologies. Key to the success of what we offer through the eAXxess, eFusion and EndPointadaptive software suites is that clients do not have to strip out existing infrastructure when implementing new technology. Clients do not need to incur the cost of investing in changes to infrastructure or training which are not required to meet immediate objectives. This does not in any way, however, limit the ability to do so in the future, when new threats or requirements evolve.”
