• H264 encoded recording for minimum file size and sharper images – an estimated 40% improvement on industry standard MPEG4
• Dual, high definition (HD) audio video displays with 1920 x 1080 pixel video resolution and high quality audio on a single cable with HDMI connections.
• RAID 5 and RAID 6 dual redundancy compatibility (with an optional RAID board) for data mirroring within the DVR. This enables complete data recovery after a hard disc failure.
• Super Dynamic 5 (SD5) integration with SD5 and intelligent video motion detection (iVMD) cameras. SD5 cameras have reduced image glare, improved focus and consistent image brightness while iVMD cameras learn their environment and include intelligent features such as facial recognition and object tracking.
• Pelco D compatibility for control of third party PTZ cameras.
• Cascade options of up to six units or 96 camera channels.
