PECAN LAUNCH NEW VANDAL-RESISTANT DOME

Pecan CCTV has announced the launch of its impressive new VRD150CMHVL vandal-resistant dome with powerful LEDs that's proven to provide high quality long distance viewing for up to 50 metres.

Introduced as a 'big brother' to Pecan's popular VRD130CMHVL the new colour/mono camera was developed as a direct result of requests from customers for an 'eyeball' designed dome which would deliver more lighting and accurate surveillance over greater distances.

As is the case with every new product Pecan introduce the VRD150CMHVL's extensive coverage was subjected to a series of stringent tests and 'real life' trials prior to its launch to ensure its rugged design and advanced technology would deliver the desired results.

Director, Jess Johns told us, "Whilst there are a considerable number of domes with 4-9mm varifocal lenses for shorter distances of 10-15 metres we recognised the need to provide customers with a camera that would view longer distances for greater security."

"Using our experience and knowledge of the 'eyeball' camera we developed a new design featuring a combination of 35 high powered IR LEDs and a 9-22mm varifocal lens which would be effective in monitoring much longer distances with a durable IP66 weatherproof vandal-resistant housing to offer secure protection in the harshest of outdoor conditions."

As well as being easy to install the VRD150CMHVL provides full vertical and horizontal movement with externally adjustable focus and zoom whilst the Sony Super HAD 1/3" Colour CCD provides high resolution 540 TVL.

Ideal for a wide variety of distance viewing applications the new VRD150CMHVL is particularly suited for installations in vulnerable areas of car parks, supermarkets, hotels and other venues as well as industrial and commercial premises.
