Prysm integrates Mobotix Q24 CCTV cameras with AppVision Building Manager

Prysm Software has completed a driver that enables its AppVision Building Manager to centralise full control of the successful Q24 cctv camera. This adds another Mobotix product to the range that AppVision manages.

One key advantage with Mobotix cameras is the ability to store cctv recorded images either on the camera SD card or to stream directly to a hard disk via an ethernet connection. Video streams are saved in small packets of proprietary avi files onto the recording medium. The means that a compatible software, like AppVision, can access these avi files directly from the hard disk or SD card to playback the recorded images.

AppVision Building Manager is product agnostic and integrates with a large range of cctv systems and cameras from different manufacturers.
