SGW launches new security training courses

Driven by a demand from its overseas clients, SGW, one of the UK’s foremost security consultancies, has designed two new specialised security training courses.

The Security Projects Training Course is aimed at everyone involved in planning a major security and CCTV surveillance system project or responsible for managing a security budget. The course content includes a module based approach to project delivery and maintenance. Delegates will exit the course with a clear understanding of the various processes and procedures to be applied, from conception to completion of a security project and will be given examples of ‘lessons learnt’ from actual projects with a focus on ‘Best Value’ procurement initiatives.

The Security Planning & Risk Assessment Training Course provides an oversight to understanding and quantifying threats to an organisation together with methodologies to minimise the potential for these to occur. High level consideration is given on how these can be presented to senior management and their link to improving the bottom line.  Attendees will gain knowledge of the skills and techniques required to deliver an effective threat and risk assessment process with supporting mitigation controls, the rationale to support this as part of a business proposal and an ongoing methodology to monitor the impact and effectiveness of controls.

Both courses will be held at the prestigious Le Méridien Hotel in Abu Dhabi at the beginning of June.

Course details and booking information are available on the SGW website – www.sgw.ae
