SightLogix appoints Ivan Arrieta as regional director for Europe, Middle East and Africa

Experienced executive to expand intelligent video surveillance business in EMEA markets

SightLogix®, Inc. has appointed Ivan Arrieta as regional director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). He will lead the company's continued expansion of SightLogix perimeter intrusion detection systems into the EMEA markets.

SightLogix is a leading supplier of automated outdoor video systems for area and perimeter security. Mr. Arrieta brings 25 years of executive management and sales experience throughout the region.

Mr. Arrieta joins SightLogix from Cedar Point Communications where, as Vice President, EMEA Sales, he established sales teams, support organizations and reseller relationships with major systems integrators. Mr. Arrieta has held executive-level sales and operating positions with Avaya, Sonus Networks, Nortel/Bay Networks, ADC Fibermux, and Infotron Systems. Fluent in five languages, Mr. Arrieta holds an MBA from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Electrical Engineering from the National Engineering University in Lima, Peru.
