Synectics shows IP products and updates at InterSec 2010:

At stand number 4-824C, Hall 4 of InterSec 2010, Synectics Security Networks will be showing a range of IP and analogue products, including additions to their Synergy Virtual Matrix System (VMS), and updates to the award-winning SynergyPro.

Designed to unleash a whole new world of analogue - digital CCTV systems control, digital recording and product integration, the latest developments further reinforce the unsurpassed video quality and third party interfacing capabilities of Synectics products.

Based on the successful Synectics e100 H.264 video server, the new e100i encoder delivers the same none blocking, dual streaming video capabilities but adds a range of optional video analytics packages. Included with no impact to video quality, the e100i is supplied with Gross Scene Change algorithms as standard, allowing the device to monitor camera tampering, masking and cloaking. Three additional suites of analytics are available for both security and business intelligence applications including; object classification, virtual trip wires, zone entrance and exit, abandoned/removed object, loitering, tailgating, queue length monitoring and area occupancy monitoring.

The new d100 decoder delivers the astounding video decode performance of Synectics’ H.264 video streams, to a composite video output.  The d100 is capable of delivering full D1 resolution 25 / 30fps (PAL / NTSC) with the minimum of decode latency, ensuring smooth PTZ control, even in a full IP transmission environment. PoE enabled, the d100 also provides bi-directional serial and audio data, in addition to alarm inputs and outputs.

Whether deployed in a full virtual matrix scenario, or to provide CCTV extension services to existing analogue systems, the new range of Synectics encoders and decoders delivers unrivalled IP video systems performance.

The new Synectics eDVR delivers enterprise grade recording solutions in a cost effective and easy to deploy package.  Archiving 16, 32 or 48 video channels in H.264 image quality, Synectics’ integration ability ensures compatibility with a range of IP cameras, including HD and megapixel devices, maximising investment in each installation.

The latest version of Synectics’ award-winning Synergy Pro command and control system boasts a wealth of new features, geared to provide even greater intuitive functionality for control room operators and managers.

Reinforcing Synectics’ unrivalled third party integration capabilities, the latest driver range affords the integration of an even wider range of standard, high definition and mega pixel IP cameras in MJPEG, MPEG4 and H.264 formats.

A long-term advocate of open protocols and universal standards in IP surveillance camera networks, Synectics Security Networks has committed to joining both the PSIA and ONVIF open standard groups, and is one of the first manufacturers to fully implement the PSIA media device into its products. Now standard in the company’s award-winning SynergyPro security management suite, the system’s advanced capabilities afford PSIA-compliant IP cameras and video servers from a wide variety of third-party manufacturers to be instantly integrated and configured into the network with ‘one-touch’ set-up.

Featuring an updated Graphical User Interface (GUI) for both Vista and XP users, SynergyPro’s powerful audit reporting capability can now be infinitely customised via a simple ‘drag and drop’ facility, providing managers with the ultimate in reporting flexibility. Ensuring evidential quality footage for effective prosecution, Synergy Pro also complies with the latest BS8495 code of practice, providing ease of use and evidential handling, whilst maximising the strength of evidential footage in court.

In addition to their IP CCTV products, Synectics will be showing their full range of high-performance products, including: SynergyProTM award-winning software control solutions, Modular Digital Recording System, patented ‘Time-Lapse Later’ digital recording solution, Synergy Traffic Enforcement system, EX250 matrix system, PRIVacy electronic scene masking and SAMS alarm management.
