Intersec 2010 in Dubai seems to have passed so quickly after such a long build up this was most certainly attributable to the terrific response and enthusiasm from the many visitors received at our booth to see the latest Vicon products and solutions on offer, indeed this made the long exhibition days just fly by.
2010 promises to see the greatest number of new product breakthrough’s from Vicon Industries for many a year, a complete new range of TCP/IP cameras will be unveiled soon together with the next level of the ViconNet management platform facilitating H.264 compression and an even more open platform to integrate Vicon CCTV into a whole host of other services. Intersec 2010 gave us the ideal opportunity to discuss the year ahead with our loyal and experienced partners as well as welcoming new partners with exciting projects being rolled out now and over the coming months. All of us at Vicon would like to thank all of our regional partners and the many new visitors for bringing so many enquiries and project opportunities which we will jointly work on and deliver.
We featured on our stand the latest addition to the Vicon DVR family namely the new Kollector Strike, the unit is powered by the very latest ViconNet 5 software and, as well as being fully networkable is also H.264 ready. This state of the art unit together with the new Kollector Force have been engineered and manufactured in our USA facility using the brand new Vicon TI encoder technology, facilitating them to be immensely powerful but also remarkably small in size, (only 1u for 16 channel 400FPS version). All of the new models are fully compatible with the ViconNet open platform and support IP and megapixel cameras from an increasing number of security industry manufacturers.
Vicon is proud to boast over 43 years of CCTV experience, providing exceptional CCTV and security solutions backed up with Industry-leading pre and post-sales customer support from our regional offices.
