Videotec's ULISSE COMPACT Can Now Be Inverted

The ULISSE COMPACT extends the limit of traditional speed domes into a superb camera positioning system, designed to resist to any outdoor environment and to deliver superior image quality at the same time, in a very attractive and competitive package

In the case of particular indoor installations or under a protecting roofing, the ULISSE COMPACT can now be inverted, using a new ceiling mounting kit. The Auto-Flip function allows the image inversion and enables the operator to continuously follow his target.

Distinguished by its stylish and tidy design, this all-in-one Cable Managed system integrates a hi-speed pan/tilt, a multi-protocol telemetry receiver and a day/night camera in a weatherproof housing.

It can pan 360° continuously at speeds of up to 200° per second (preset accuracy of 0,1°) Tilt ranges between -90° to +90°, with auto-pan and patrol functions.

The integrated day/night camera ensure Hi-Resolution (530 TV lines) quality images even in poorly illuminated environments, thanks to Wide Dynamic Range technology for advanced backlight compensation and Day/Night function with Auto IR-Cut Filter Removal. A choice of different optical zooms is available: 36x, 18x and 10x (12x digital).

The unit is available with built-in IR LED illuminator, factory aligned with the camera for protection during the hours of darkness and is fitted as option with built-in wiper.

The ULISSE COMPACT offers user-friendly operation and enhanced resistance to operation-induced stress and operates in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +60°C, sophisticated de-icing functions have been implemented.

The ULISSE COMPACT is specifically recommended for almost all demanding outdoor monitoring applications, such as: traffic and highways, town center surveillance, coastal and harbour checks, borders, stadiums, industry surveillance, prisons surveillance, military installation and perimeter monitoring.
